This is the result of people like Roy and CSJ who endangers Singapore security and sovereignty by inviting foreigners to interfere in Singapore domestic affairs.

They should be locked up under the ISA and the key thrown away!

TODAY reports: The EU has called on Singapore authorities to "stop all pending executions and to reinstate its earlier moratorium on capital punishment as a first step towards definitive abolition of the death penalty".

SINGAPORE: The European Union (EU) has called on the authorities in the Republic to reinstate its halt on capital punishment, following the execution of a convicted murderer here last week.

Reiterating its opposition to the use of capital punishment, the EU said in a statement on Friday (Apr 24) it has consistently called for universal abolition of the penalty, which it describes as “cruel and inhumane”.

“The European Union calls on the Singaporean authorities to stop all pending executions and to reinstate its earlier moratorium on capital punishment as a first step towards definitive abolition of the death penalty,” it added.

The statement came after Muhammad Kadar, 39, was executed on Apr 17 at Changi Prison Complex after he was convicted of stabbing a 69-year-old neighbour to death in her flat while robbing her. He is the first murderer to be sentenced to death after the law was changed to give judges discretion to mete out life imprisonment and caning instead for certain murder offences.

A statement released by the Singapore Police Force (SPF) last week said Muhammad had been accorded full due process under the law and was represented by a lawyer throughout the legal process.

“The Court of Appeal dismissed his appeal against conviction on July 5, 2011,” said the SPF. “On Sep 29 last year, after hearing further arguments, the Court of Appeal dismissed his application for re-sentencing under the new death penalty regime and affirmed the sentence of death.” The SPF added that Muhammad’s petition for clemency was also rejected.

we have people like Roy who write to all over the world and speak to media all over the world to come and interfere in our domestic affairs.:oIo::oIo:

this is what happened when you have a gu niang PM in charge. sure kena bullied by them. If we have competent leaders like Amos Yee, the angmoh will come here appologies and Amos will screw their arses and make them crawl home like cry babies.

We should execute 10 more death row convicts immediately to send a strong signal to the EU to butt out of our internal affairs.

The 300,000 strong bros of the SAF will not stand for foreigners undermining our sovereignty.

The death penalty is one of the PAP's best policies ever. I hope it's retained for eternity.

So? What about LKY who went to Australia to drum up support for his views in Malaysia days.

Death penalty is cheaper. Dont have to feed and house the prisoners for life With taxpayer monies.

Don't flatter the PAP. The death penalty did not originate with them. It was there when Singapore was a colony. It was there from biblical times. - Show no pity: life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot. Deut 19:21

The death penalty is one of the PAP's best policies ever. I hope it's retained for eternity.

Can even make money if you harvest the innards and sell them. What a moron.

The EU should stop telling others what they ought or ought not do; and start cleaning up their own backyard. Once they clean up their economy, banking and finance policies, nurse their own countries back to health and lower their unemployment, they can start to look at their own social security and crimes. Once they achieved a state better than Singapore, then they are allowed to come and talk cock.

The world economy is in a bloody mess because of them. Had they did what they should do and follow through their economic reform 10 years ago like the US, they would have plug their holes in Greece, Italy and France. The economy would be better and their useless Ang Mo can fark back to their counties instead of looking for jobs here.
