[h=1]I AM DONATING TO AMOS YEE AND HERE IS WHY...[/h]

The following also applies to my stance on the charges against TRS, Roy Ngerng and Han Hui Hui.
1. On principles of free speech. Free speech allowed LKY and the PAP to openly challenge the British colonialists. It has given us a nation, with labour, economic, education and housing rights. Free speech, exercised in defiance, paved the way for the formation of Singapore.
2. Every cent that Lee Hsien Loong and his ministers earn come from the people. As a taxpayer, I shall not allow my money to go into putting a 16 year old into jail for exercising his right of expression, a right guaranteed under the Singapore Constitution.
3. Amos Yee has done me no harm. He did not raise my cost of living, put my sons in NS, open the floodgates to cheap foreign labour or censored my speech.
4. Amos Yee has been factual. He did not lie, cheat or distort. You may not like the way he expresses it, but all that he said has been repeated many times before in online forums. It was probably not his words but his presentation, his hair, his accent, his cockiness - that offended you. Don't like the way he talks? Turn it off. But don't forget there are many others who DO AGREE with him.

5. He is a precocious 16 year Singaporean with a strong interest in justice, equality, democracy and the happiness for our nation.
6. To send Amos Yee to jail is to narrow our own space. The same right that was accorded to you to insult him and his parents without the threat of arrests should be accorded to him. Why should insulting LKY be more criminal than insulting a fellow Singaporean, a fellow human being?
7. I will not be part of any lynch mob to harass, beat up and imprison a 16 year old boy with the moral courage to stand by his political views. That should be a criminal offence far worst than the 8 minute video he produced.
Amos Yee has made his video and blogpost public again. He is ready to defend the charges and I applaud him for taking a courageous stand. He has put many adults and even generals in the SAF to shame. I will be donating $100 to him via his paypal account. It is a small price to pay for my children to live in society where free expression is countered by free expression, not by handcuffs, harassment and law suits.

Steady lah Benny.. I stand by you!!!!!

Amos is beginning to look like the straw that is going to break PAP's camel back.

They cuffed and put ankle braces on a 16-year old and locked him up for 3 days just for mouthing something that the government didn't like. This is sentence before trial.

They will want to slap a big one on him unless there is public upcry of this heinous attack on a teenager who is only guilty of using foul language. I am sure the ministars use foul language with greater regularity than Amos.

Here's to the crazy ones.
The
misfits.
The rebels.
The
troublemakers.
The round pegs in the square holes.

The ones who see things differently.
They're not fond of rules.
And they have no respect for the status quo.

You can quote them, disagree with them,
glorify or vilify them.
About the only thing you can't do is ignore them.

Because they change things.
They push the human race forward.
While some may see them as the crazy ones,
we see genius.

Because the people who are crazy enough to think
they can change the world, are the ones who do.

I've donated to the Amos Yee's cause.

My friends on this side of the world have also donated.

Why do you need to put a cuff on his hands and bracelets ? Sometimes it beats me. The decision who made the Police do this is just so stupid. It a bad PR move to be seen doing this to a young boy like him.

Basically, no matter how right you have your reason to standby. The decision maker needs to be shot. We are a 1st World Nation, not some 3rd World back water nation back in 1960s, where criminal and gangster rife.

Using 3rd World method to deal with 1st World problem is not appropriate. He is not even some criminal to start with.

It's a crazy world
THE PROBLEM WITH THIS WORLD.jpg

The only problem with the Steve jobs quote is there are people who go out and do great things like Steve jobs and elon musk and Richard Branson and chuck feeney and even lky,and then there are those who don't really do anything in real life other than seek attention.
