If it was Chinese, any mor should have paid the lease to Beijing.
But Malays were trading with Chinese since imperial days. And not impossible to find porcelain amongst the treasures of feudal lords.
As for Buddhism, that was part of Malay history. Hindu artifacts and remnants of Hindu buildings can be found in Kedah state, in bujang valley.over a thousand years old. The oldest continuous sultanate in Malaysia is in Kedah, but seldom mentioned in history books. Present Agung is from Kedah.
