Poor Spore refugees.

This reminds me of the american experience of those living in faraway suburbs. They had to spend hours driving to town where they worked. They are now abandoning the suburbs & moving back to town.

Nowadays JB is also experiencing the haze. Added to that is all the construction that is going on. It might turn into another mini Spore.

Heard from someone that all these ongoing property development in Iskandar is the joint venture project between Sillypore, Malaysia and China.
They keep building condos and private houses to anticipate and take advantage of the population growth crafted by the FT policy.
Sooner or later supply is gonna exceed demand.

some homes look good online and in brochures, but in close-up during visits, i shudder at the opiang design, high density (and getting more dense), poor landscaping, and very bad master planning for the surroundings and environment as a whole. if there's plenty of cheap land, the master plan must include great landscaping, curb appeal, and a combination of parks, water features, trails, bike paths, walkways, and generous manicured green space. like this home.

They will come in late morning and afternoon, when usually women folks are home for added entertainment. Always. (Not necessary Ah Neh, likely Indonesians and bumis)
