It's like comparing Barcelona FC with Wigan Athletic.

SAF Scholars fought university exams and paper exercises.

Your average run of the mill ISIS grunt is not a very well trained soldier. 3 weeks of religious studies and one week of military training and off you go with an AK or whatever is available. you either learn or die on the job. but that's OK, they expected that much as part of their job. You either become a veteran or casualty along then way.

Your usual NSF is trained for 12 weeks at BMT. they understand that they are there by law and have no deathwish. They are also led by equally demotivated spec and officers who are there are for 2 years. You will Ord after 24 months and not become a veteran or casualty (hopefully)

The average 2 year NS boy just does nothing but slack.
