Man jailed three weeks for molesting woman, 64

SINGAPORE - A man who rubbed his groin area on a woman's buttocks was jailed for three weeks on Wednesday.
Indian national Jagudam Rameshwar, 45, a supervisor, pleaded guilty to outraging the modesty of the 64-year-old woman at a shop in Bugis on June 8 last year.
Deputy Public Prosecutor Rajiv Rai said the victim was at her sister's shop packing some goods when Jagudam came from behind and molested her. The incident was witnessed by the victim's sister.
Investigations showed that Jagudam, who had drunk a can of beer, had gone to the area at around noon. He saw the victim and suddenly had the urge to touch her.
