Morning around 8 am heading down towards istana

Quite a crowd has gathered

Go off to sign some condolences and look at flowers, memorials made for old fart

This one looks like some chinese funeral style

The rest were ok

Hearse on gun carriage is taking a long time to come out. Crowd gets a bit restless but waits patiently.

GOH comes out and every gets ready to video/take pics

You need to walk towards raflles mrt to take a queue but there are people already passing by BQ to queue.

It was too long i just went back.

Nope that was before noon all the pubs were closed. The queue now stretches past clarke quay lol. 8 hours estimated waiting time claimed by authorities and people are still willing to queue!

That area has quite a number of hot spots for clubbing etc. Thanks.

You have to wonder how people have so much free time from work to queue
The saddest thing was that no public holiday was declared:(

Most are probably from GLCs companies who encouraged them to attend. PAP is the largest land lord & employer in Spore. I'm sure there are also plenty of curious people who have never had a chance to see the old fart up close or visit parliament.

Heck even I was tempted to make a visit & confirm that he was really dead & take a selfie. However must look after myself because the haze is unhealthy & why waste the time & money when it can be used on a visit JB It's like that in Spore, LKY has taught Sporeans the importance of looking after themselves
