His mother who stopped working for 1 year to take care of Lee Hsien Loong when Lee Hsien Loong was born passed away several years ago.
His beloved father is in ICU.

His general MPs are not functioning normally with frequent operational breakdowns and online onslaught by various quarters.

The National Archives of Singapore (NAS) has uploaded its collection of photos and manuscripts onto a new Citizen Archivist Portal. It is inviting the public to write photo captions and transcribe the manuscripts.

I browsed the collection, and spotted my father in this set of photos. I think they were taken on election day on 21 September 1963, days after Singapore joined Malaysia. He was visiting Tanjong Pagar CC, which was a polling station in his constituency.

Ok, so you may be one of those who remember the 'good old days' of a younger LKY. You may want to give him (debatable) credit on his contributions in turning Singapore from swampy fishing village to urban jungle.

But never forget who is the current PM of Singapore, and who had put him in power in the first place. All those decades of so-called progress has been destroyed in one decade.

Think hard, before you decide to take the easy path and be another grateful twit at the polls.
