Lawyer A.P. Thirumurthy was reprimanded by a disciplinary tribunal for “talking behind the back” of an opposing party to the latter’s client in a conveyancing case.

But PAP MP Alvin Yeo was absolved of all wrongdoing in a case of overcharging to the tune of $1m in Oct this year.

Strange logic, Law Society.

Its all about keeping lawyers in check. A lot of ethical rules to observe but when such rules hit snare one of their own... you know lah... the facts and figures speak for themselves.
 
What do you expect when the judges have weird logic too. The judges will twist and turn to come out with an illogical rationale to serve the interest of the government.

That's why I said in earlier post that all judges must go back for refresher course..to update and standardize their sentencing skills
and not to pass sentence in the utmost inconsistent manner.

Do u agree..???
 
What is strange logic? Dun think there is such thing as strange logic. It's either logical or illogical.
