I'll be happy if we can bring the MIW ministar salary down to less than SGD$500,000.00 per year, each of them.
SingTel's latest earnings is down 7.2%
Good come, bad also come, heaven ling ling, earth ling ling
Know the truth and know pap's true performance:
1. Keppel Corp profit down 9% in the latest financial performance announcement
2. NOL lost US$ 152 million in the first 6 months of 2014. It will get worse for the 2nd half of 2014
3. SPH profit is down 5.5%
4. SGX profit is down 16%
5. SG casinos suffer fall of more than 50% in profits
6. PRC tourists to Singapore decline sharply
7. Esplanade reports 1st ever annual loss
Singapore's economy is not doing well despite paying top dollars for PAP Ministers. Singaporeans are not hearing the whole truth from the pap. Bad news are discreetly suppressed. How long can the truth be suppressed?
I urge Singaporeans to know beyond what the pap says and what the MSM report
Will SG go into a recession soon?

that seems equitable...
Our ability to spend is dependent on our income. When median take-home pay is $1700, there's not a lot of money left for discretionary spending.
Your translation abit salah. It's good things come, bad things go
I'm very pissed off the election cum ntuc loser is put in Keppel corp to suck its profits further. Keppel corp is a good company screwed up by cronies.

I expect SIA to report its first ever annual loss soon.
SIA is in deep trouble
Well, unless they stop military ex. in Oz; which is 5 planes load 1 way.
ALMOST EVERY AIRLINE IS BLEEDING; ITS SO SO COMPETITIVE. EVEN QANTAS.
only Cathay flying high, I think.
Emirates is doing well.

Emirates is doing well.
Yes; that is why they are BIG F1 sponsors. And so are the other MEast airlines.
some airlines are bleeding more than others.
On the passenger side, problem with sia is that it depends a lot on business class and 1st class passengers and it relies a lot on USA and Europe markets. when USA and Europe don't do well economically, SIA falters.
Wage wise, SIA carries a lot of dead weight on its payroll.
Competition wise, SIA cant compete with Emirates, Etihad and Qatar on the long routes
Price wise, SIA is expensive
Increased competition from Jet Star, and other budget airlines has chipped off SIA's market in Australia. SIA is trying to do a monopoly with ANZ to the NZ market and the price to these destinations is atrocious. Silly strategy and the passengers will nopt forget this when the NZ market is liberalised
Some unwise management decisions in fuel hedging have cost SIA big money.
So I see strong headwinds for sia
