Bad Hospital Food

just visited a fren at CGH
he complains that the food he gets is absolutely horrible.............. cud this be due to more citizens taking up subsidised Class C wards and hence the need to reduce cost of subsidy
another trick by PAPigs to look generous with PG package n behind your back cheat on you again/////
also the pay increases for medical pple must come from somewhere............ hospital expenses and increase medicine prices which although subsidised can be gotten a lot cheaper in JB................ why , how come?

Sorry 'bout your friend. But you may wish to know that hospital food, like most other institutional food sucks. Lucky inmates get their friends or relatives to packet outside food for them. BTW, hospital kitchens have to keep low salt, low sugar, low on taste. People I know who have to stay a couple of days in hospital are so happy to be discharged because the food in there is really really bad.

Sorry 'bout your friend. But you may wish to know that hospital food, like most other institutional food sucks. Lucky inmates get their friends or relatives to packet outside food for them. BTW, hospital kitchens have to keep low salt, low sugar, low on taste. People I know who have to stay a couple of days in hospital are so happy to be discharged because the food in there is really really bad.

When I was in hospital, they didn't give me any food. Not that I'm complaining because when you are in ICU you don't feel like eating.
All that I got was oxygen.

During my time, SAF was compared to the Siberian Gulag, have you seen Margarine pile high up looking like the scene in "close encounters", bread that bounces when you drop them on the floor ( made IN CHANGI), kway teow soup, that has the kway teow swimming on top in bikinis or mee noon or noodle fried with vegetables that is crunchy for they contain nutrients like sand, stones & worms...

& yet, many still voted for the PAP after eating those stuffs..amazing!!

Some unit food are actually quite good. I have tasted beef rending at the muslim cookhouse at 5SIR, I'd say would be "restaurant" standard and also the deep fried chicken at Commando camp was excellent too. But where had BMT at ITD in Sembawang, the food there sucked. Breakfast bee hoon was quite difficult to swallow.
