As part of month long National. Day celebration, Merle was finally recognised for his contribution by the Lord Mayor of SBF. He was also awarded points redeemable at NTUC which was unexpected and a bonus.
Some might speculate it is a massive suck job by the Lord Mayor to improve his standing. Some might also say that its like the village donkey awarding a medal to the country's thoroughbred but these are not true.
Also the part where he throws his spamming buddy under the bus in the same post should be not be taken as an attempt to distance himself from relatives who have fallen on bad times but merely coincidental event.
We should expect other village donkeys to join this thread in support of the Lord Mayor of SBF.
