A woman was apparently spotted squatting down at Holland Village MRT Station to 'answer nature's call'.
Stompers PY, shirinarianna, Suhairi,Alfahd, Weisy, KV, Nurfarhana, Marcus and Alex had sent photos of her in the act to Stomp.
The photos have also been making their rounds on websites and social media platforms like facebook.
According to a posting on All Singapore Stuff's facebook page, the incident took place at Holland Village MRT Station.

The photo of an adult woman defecating at the MRT station in Holland Village has been widely shared on social media, eliciting many responses, all expressing a sense of utter disgust.
The story has even been picked up by Hong Kong and Taiwan media and was shared on many forums, social media pages and news sites.
When netizens emailed SMRT about the incident, SMRT explained that they do not condone such acts and if offenders are caught doing such things to soil the premises, staff members will put a stop to it right away and the offender would most likely be issued a Notice Of Offence and summoned by the NEA.
However, in this case, SMRT explained that they could not fine the woman as she has done this out of the line of sight of their station staff and as she had already left the scene by the time they were made aware of it.
They were only able to send cleaners to clean up the mess right away.
They also explained that it is simply not possible for the staff to constantly watch the CCTV feeds as they have other duties and passengers to attend to.
Nevertheless, SMRT acknowledged that it was an unlawful act and they asked that people who see such things report them immediately so that something can be done before the offender leaves.






While it has been alleged in Singapore that the woman in the photo was a Chinese National, these reports cannot be confirmed as the woman's identity if unknown.
When the news was picked up by Hong Kong and Taiwan news media [Link], they also speculated that it was in fact a PRC woman.
However, when the photo was shared on Chinese forum sites frequented by PRCs, the response was that the woman must be from Taiwan or was a local Singaporean [Link].
In any case, it is clear from all the online responses that nobody condones such acts and are disgusted to see such behaviour being linked to their country.
It is sad to see that such behaviour has now landed on Singapore's shores.
