The Human Organ Transplant Act allows for the kidneys, heart, liver and corneas to be removed in the event of death from any cause for the purpose of transplantation. From 1 November 2009, HOTA will cover all Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents 21 years old and above, who are not mentally disordered , unless they have opted out. The upper age limit of 60 years has been removed.

Not to worry , goalposts shift all the time in Sinkieland.

I am all against age discrimination and I applaud the change. To refuse the organs of a perfectly healthy 70 year old sends the wrong signal that the elderly are useless and a burden to society which simply isn't so.

We have 90 year olds in the country who are healthy and productive members of society. One of them is still an active MP despite his age.
