Shabu shabu for dinner (pork)

Had dinner pretty late and restaurant about to close so got to hurry a little. Have to say enjoyed the dinner as the quality fo the meat and vegetables are very good and fresh.

Isn't this cute? Even the train also have a Mt. Fuji face at Mt. Fuji



Mt. Fuji is right in front but overcast by low cloud if not it should be breathtaking, hope tomorrow is better

No idea buddy, I think Chinatown has a temple that looks like this, the one with a huge gigantic tooth.

that's the sg chinatown temple. there was this group of amateur dancers line-dancing to old american country cowboy tunes, in the heart of sinkie chinatown. :*:

This is the entrance to the onsen hot spring



There's free-flow Sapporo draft beer between 3-7pm so its great to have a glass after the onsen

Dinner was served in the room. Actually requested to dine in the dining area but was told cannot because of my booking. Nevertheless someone came to setup







Starter with some tempura


And soup




Some preserved vegetable


Some sake to go along


Sashimi




Next come the shabushabu


Was told that this is wine fed pork






This is something special, cabbage and silver fish layered


Finally the rice and dessert

After the above dinner it was time for evening onsen

Then it time to bed





They even had a thoughtful touch with - lavender beside pillow for good smell and good sleep

Breakfast in front of Mt. Fuji is great, good food and good view

Leaving the ryokan



On a local train from small station Kawaguchico to midium station Otsuuki



Then took this Shinkansen at Shinyokohama

Finally arriving at Ngoya

Most of Japan is very hot NW that it's summer. Summer time is time for cold ramen



Got a couple of ice cube in it too


inhave to say it's refreshingly good. Love it.
