A former engineer who took upskirt videos of unsuspecting women on escalators at shopping malls and MRT stations was jailed for three weeks on Friday.
Teh Thian Seng, 51, now unemployed, is believed to be the first such offender with a psychiatric problem to be sentenced to jail, reports The Straits Times Online.
The father of two was also fined $8,500 after admitting to having 17 obscene video films at his Hougang flat in 2012.
He had also pleaded guilty to insulting the modesty of women at the underground passageway between Ngee Ann City and Wisma Atria shopping centres and the escalator of City Hall MRT station on Aug 25 that year.

He ended up following her to her block and molesting her in a lift.
On Tuesday Wang Xiong, 24, was sentenced to six months in prison after pleading guilty to outraging the 27-year-old's modesty on Jan 27 this year. One other count of molest, committed against a 21-year-old girl six days earlier in a similar fashion, was taken into consideration.
The court heard that around 7.45pm that night, the Chinese national had exited Pioneer MRT and was walking towards his rented flat along Jurong West Street 65.
This was when he spotted and tailed his neighbour, who lived in the adjacent block of flats.
