Know a chap who was in similar situation. He used to troll online dating and meeting forums impersonating as a Lesbian. Then one night the Police raided his home, seized all the computers in the house. The family was naturally was shocked. It turns out that one of those who responded was a underaged schoolgirl who was masquerading as a an adult. Her parents checked her PC and lodged a police report. He was arrested for grooming a minor for sex.

The grooming charge was dropped but charged for possession of porn. Sadly his father was also charged of porn as the father's laptop was also searched.

I doubt he trolls anymore.
