Parliamentarians to take to the football field for charity

“Yaacob plays goalie,” said Mr Teo. “I've already made the No. 1 jersey for him, and I’m hoping he has the time to come and play for us.”

The parliamentarians are one of four celebrity teams taking part in this year's "Football With A Heart" event.

They got heart meh?

The other celebrity teams comprise senior civil servants, business owners from the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises and members of the Japanese Association.

It is the largest corporate-level football charity fundraiser in Singapore and major companies are invited to take part in a friendly five-aside tournament.
