A few days ago someone in the office suggested that the recent outcry and protest about CPF meant different things for different people and that most people had no idea about principles, transparency, good government and equity. More importantly if Roy was not sued, the CPF issue would have died as it has done so after every increase. He said Singaporeans have been raised to fear the government and will talk in extremes such as detention without trial and ask the government where the boundary and then protest within it. Some agreed and some felt that the people are indeed more aware of their rights.

So yesterday's experiment using Chia Thye Poh and Escher. As we all know that Escher fears no one with his piano wires and necklaces bolstered with TOR confidence. So he is the new Singaporean, must have woken as the years progressed.

Then we have Singaporeans stuck in the Chia Thye Poh era and the fear that it created and which served the PAP well. I am happy to say only one moron thought a ban might be used and asked that Escher not be banned and requested OB markers as a guide. This despite the question in the first post mentioned no such thing but posed a question and that the SBF 15 years reputation of running with little or no rules.

I liked Zihau's posts about madmansg and QXP who interesting characters. Both who spammed with their own style. Again non conformist behaviour.

I think with crowds making the numbers on topical issues at Hong lim Park are good signs. The many number of anti-establishment and questioning posts and comments in the various blogs including in neutral blogs are signs of change.

The major change came when TOR became usable. I had to retire my former self here to be Escher.

Even as Escher, my earlier writings were still mild.
Then I realised the stupidity of writing within the obscene OB markers.

Who are they the fucking PAPs to set those markers, markers that they moved and changed as they wish?
They operate by lies and more lies and nothing that they say can be trusted.

TELL ME ONE THING THAT THOSE BASTARDS EVER TRUTHFULLY SAY IN THEIR FUCKING LIVES.
YOU CANNOT AS THEY TELL LIES AFTER LIES AFTER LIES

Why should I restrain myself?
Why not I be a catalyst for change?

Was it that unthinkable to hang the PAPs and to necklace them?
Until I kept writing that, deliberately wrote that to plant seeds of changes

Words that might have been unthinkable became acceptable.
The vision must come first. Vision of PAPs dangling from piano wires and dancing or wearing burning necklace.

You can completely ignore the OB markers and still get your message across without repeating the same things and the same ideas. People tend to stop reading it when it becomes repetitive.

Your can still be harsh, critical and effective without being repetitive.

It becomes politically damaging for the PAP when more people find fault and argue for change rather than issue threats of violence. As you know the PAP will capitalise on the the threats of violence rather than the serious and critical issue at hand.

After the first Catherine Tan episode where she wrote about the affective divide, the GCT came out with the OB markers. And many Singaporeans were actually pleased that boundary (guidelines) was drawn so they know what to say and do. Which is completely rubbish. Just because PAP says something it cannot be right or true. For instance why must someone join a political party to partake in politics. And why can't someone criticise the PM of the day.

Leongsam, I trust your set markers but to ban Escher then I'll ask how you set the marker? What is right to post what is wrong to post? Ignore function is the best bet if not happy don't need to see.
