He explained that instead, Singapore is pushing for a code of conduct to be quickly implemented to better dictate how disputes are settled.

Those are political disputes, once settled only a code of conduct could be implemented.
It’s like asking PAP to set out a code of conduct within Singapore politics.

Out of the blue, a population white paper was put in place to allow rapid growth even though the economy was still sustainable and better than many other countries at status quo.
Without provision of adequate infrastructures to contain the quick and massive inflow of FTs, as evidenced, isn’t the motive of PWP proven?

Such insidious plans to recover votes besides other obstacles laid upon the opposition’s path a good conduct?
He can forget about values of our children when parents like him set such example.

Oh yes...he must have forgotten Singapore is only as big as a red dot.
If thrown either into China or Vietnam jungle it can never be found like MH 370.

Sitting on the fence is defensible by PAP logic's of huge investment in both Vietnam & China but teaching big brothers what needs to be done is tantamount to teaching his father how to produce children.... and with values.

aiya... no need type so long. just 2 words

boh chee.

As usual, Singapore will not take sides so it can perform its sycophantic best when the time comes.

The only thing good about the Swiss nowadays is that the country does not allow hordes of parasitic South Asians into their country soaking up lucrative bank jobs and IT sectors. Not even a bleached Ah Neh can penetrate their borders.

It's the Swiss way. Do you want a Swiss standard of living or not?

As long as Singapore does well above its neighbours and has an impressive standard of modernisation, it has a stage. Not anymore. It's services are crumbling, it's people are not happy, the country is beginning to look like the black hole of Calcutta and it's neighbours are doing much better except for the Philippines.

Time to do something within the country first.

Yes, the right to bear arms. In fact, in Swissland, it is against the law for an adult not to bear arms.

Not taking sides? That's not what you said to your Jewish masters in America.

Shanmugam discusses need for US to deal with rising China

Singapore's Foreign Affairs and Law Minister K Shanmugam is currently in Washington DC for a week of meetings with key US leaders, but he has also spoken in a slightly more unusual setting -- the American Jewish Committee Global Forum.

This year, to reflect the Obama administration's continued rebalancing towards the Asia Pacific, the committee wanted to hear not just from an Asian country, but from one with consistently strong ties to Israel.

That is why they invited Singapore's foreign minister.

Double-headed serpent with a forked tongue. :kma:

Quid pro quo-in future should Singapore has any conflict with China, also expect the Vietnamese, Pinoy and other Asean members to be neutral .

Might as well change name to ASEAEC-Association of South East Asian Economic Cooperation-as it suits the moneyface more.

Anyway one chap actually said before that Singapore is not a country and the dying man said its not a nation.
