KNN, why Indian Ocean is called Indian Ocean when it has no satellites watching over it and it does not send planes and ships to look for MH370?

Once upon a time India was an island in the middle of the Indian ocean. Plate tectonic moments moved it up towards the mainland, forming those high mountains of Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet.

Agree. In honour and memory of MH370, I propose to call this Malaysia Ocean, or Laut Besar Melayu (no offence intended to the Ah Tiongs who drowned there).
