Posting on his Facebook page [Link] yesterday (6 Mar), PM Lee argued for the need to maintain a strong SAF and Home Team in light of the crisis currently unfolding in Ukraine.

He said that Ukraine signed a treaty in 1994 with Russia, the US and UK to give up its nuclear weapons, in exchange for which the US and Russia agreed not to use force against Ukraine.

“Yet Ukraine is in this predicament today,” Mr Lee said.
