I know of many internstional students who have found work in hospitals and clinics upon graduation, from singapore, malaysia etc..

Indeed, it just means locals are given priority over foreigners. From this forum and the many stories you hear, in Singapore its the other way round. Perhaps these student should go to Singapore instead?

Here we give foreigners scholarships to study at our local unis while our own people have to mortgage their homes to study overseas.
