Brundle joined other celebrities in voicing support for Schumacher following his horrifying skiing fall in the French Alps which left him critically injured

Martin Brundle has tweeted a heart-felt message of support for Michael Schumacher following his horrifying skiing accident.

Brundle, a racing pundit and former Formula 1 teammate of Schumacher, took to Twitter to implore his friend to pull through as he undergoes emergency treatment in hospital.

He said: "Come on Michael, give us one of those race stints at pure qualifying pace to win through, like you used to. You can do it."

Brundle was just one of the famous faces from the world of sport and television to flood Twitter with messages of support for Schumacher following his accident.

The Formula I motor racing legend was fighting for his life in intensive care tonight following the incident in the French Alpine resort of Meribel this morning.

An emergency evacuation airlifted Schumacher off the slopes by helicopter while still conscious.

that is worse than death, coma .
doctor of the world rejoice, all the money made in F1 going to the wealth of medical profession.

One of the best F1 drivers during his prime. Hope he pulls through and make full recovery.

LYON: Michael Schumacher, the retired seven-time Formula One champion, is in a coma and remains in a "critical" condition after striking his head in a ski accident in the French Alps on Sunday, the hospital treating him said.

The 44-year-old German was "suffering a serious brain trauma with coma on his arrival, which required an immediate neurosurgical operation", the hospital in the southeast French city of Grenoble said in a brief statement.

"He remains in a critical condition."

Schumacher had been skiing off-piste in the upmarket Meribel resort, where he reportedly has a property, when he fell and hit his head on a rock.

He was airlifted to a local hospital, then, an hour later, to the better-equipped Grenoble facility. A specialist neurosurgeon from Paris was rushed in to oversee his treatment.

The director of the Meribel resort, Christophe Gernigon-Lecomte, had said just after the accident that Schumacher had been wearing a helmet and was "conscious but a little agitated", suggesting he had not received life-threatening injuries.

But when Schumacher then fell into coma, doctors realised the damage was worse than initially feared.

People always underestimate damage from head injuries!! Hope he get well soon.

Was a F1 fan during the period when he was fighting with david Coulthard for pole position. I wished him a speedy recovery.

He is a thrill seeker. Some people will not just sit around & avoid risks. Even if he recovers he will probably continue pushing himself.

If he recovers, as it seems quite serious from the reporting.
Nevertheless, the thought is, the risk/odds finally does catch up.

Many of them adhere to the YOLO philosophy - You Only Live Once.

You won't find them to be kiasi like Sinkies.

When you read reports like these it don't seemed optimistic.
I will wish he recovers fully....
