More than 6000 troops of the US 422nd and 423rd infantry regiments surrendered in 1944 to German troops in the Battle of the Bulge. Some were out of ammo. Others were commanded by their commanders to do so.....this was one of the largest mass surrenders in American military history.......



This photo will go down in shame in US history.......


Will we ever see SAF soldiers with their hands in the air en-mass like these US troops? ( learnt from SPF, with approval of you-know-who......)

Shame??? I thought they all received commendations for the best tactical withdrawal in the history of the SPF.

I hear national day honors are on the cards too.
