Can anyone here advise me how or where I can get a pair of Dwarf Snakeheads (Chana Guacha) in Singapore? Am going to empty all the rubbish guppies and gouramis in my fish tank and the only fish I can be bothered to rear is the snakehead. The common aruan and Toman are monstrous and I do not want to keep oversized fish in my 20 gal tank. Thanks in advance.

Cheers!

Serangoon North Ave 2 may have but need to look at the aquarium shops. Also Blk 328 Clementi may have some Rainbow Snakeheads. Check with them especially Clementi as they can tell you if you telephone the shop. Usually, the stock that arrives at C328 tends to be an assortment of gachua and bleheri. Not too sure about Yishun Blk 618.

Bro, thanks very much. I will certainly check out these shops over the next week or so. Don't know about the Chana Bleheri shown in the pic, but as long as it does not exceed 20~22 cm or so, should be fine by my expectations. The reason why I would like to keep snakeheads is because they are carnivores and voracious eaters, and will chase after their prey. Told my wife that I was going to dump the present contents of the fish tank as I am getting tired of cleaning out all that shit every week and the only thing I'd be keen is something that can entertain me. Can only think of snakeheads.

Cheers!

ps. Don't bother trying to PM me, my number is not revealed. But thanks anyways...

The Rainbow Snakehead grows to a max size of 8 inches (20 cm) and it is from Assam India. It is a very colourful fish which makes it popular.
