nowhere you can find several US presidents (present & past), sitting in the same venue as Cuban president...only need N Korean Kim to complete the picture.

and ironically, the S Africans cheer Mugabe when his name is mentioned and jeered & booed their current president.

full packed stadium - showing how much Mandela meant to the ppl of S Africa and the world.

I wonder when our ahem...pass on, will we have such a crowd for his memorial?

where it can be held to accommodate so many people? The new national stadium perhaps?

I believe our ahem can, judging from the past elections where they can bring bus load of supporters. Never underestimate our ruling party.

locals i have no doubt, nothing that a packet of chicken rice or a pink slip won't take care of.
its the foreign dignity that we are wondering.

No one important will give a fuck when old fart dies....probably only the obligatory condolence messages to his aqua son.

Four USA Presidents in attendance at the Nelson Mandela Memorial Service. How often does this happen?

Presidents Carter, Clinton, Bush and Obama.

I wonder if Tharman will speak LOL...

I do not think so. Leaders of many other (bigger) countries would not be speaking too, let alone someone from our little red dot! President Obama is special because he is almost regarded as an African son.

If there are bright lights shining, his bald head shouldn't be that difficult to spot.

Simi freedom fighter? For god's sake, the Man was labelled as a "terrorist" and was rightfully locked up for 9000 days.

How about the Jalan Besar stadium?

Old Bush probably fighting hard with Old Fart for the title. ;)

Last time I saw George Bush Senior, he was in a wheelchair.

Old Bush still fighting fit....read a recent report on him going bald for cancer charity.
He was ex fighter pilot in ww2 that survived being shot down....lky was a fucking traitor during that time.
Sky have eyes old bush will outlive lky for many years....

the older bush is a true war hero and a real conservative. the younger bush is a republican in name only (rino) and not a true conservative. he calls himself a "compassionate conservative" which is essentially a middle right liberal. the fact that he shows up in mandela's memorial with the other 3 liberal former and current presidents speaks true of his inner convictions. mandela's memorial is a left wing liberal fest. no sane right wing conservative will participate.
