They cook the opium when it is raw and the smell is so stinko. My grandma smoked opium so I experienced that when I was about 6 years old.

That stuff is call water smoke aka 水烟。 don't think people smoke that. But concept is same as sheesha.

Despite the cost of cigaraettes & all the laws to restrict smoking... yet, I have seen school children as young as 11 or 12 smoking near a school in my area...the kids used to buy cigs from a 7-11 shop..till they had their license cancelled...

I recall it stinks when my aunt cook the raw opium. I don't exactly remember the process, as all I remembered was the smell coming out of the kitchen.
