Females - Employers need to respect maternity leave.

I am much much more concern about maternity leaves for FTs..nabei cb the Fts in my co. came here to abuse MC, Child care leave, maternity leaves..pua chee bye PAP allow this to happen.
 
We're not there so why cast the boss as a villain. He is asking for one day a week so she can be apprised of what's happening. FYI she can be away as long as 4 months. In a small company everybody counts. Frankly if they can do without anyone for 2 months let alone 4 why do they need anyone at all. We still feel everything is a right forgetting how other people have to support us when we are away. When she comes back she has a perfect right to tell the boss " I want to quit". Nothing you can do. If an organization is good to you show it some consideration. If it is not good to you, work elsewhere.

imagine you submitted your application for xxxx to minsitry of yyyyy.
after 2 week you realsied there is no reply.
you decided to give them call. you are told.. mrs xxx in charge of this admin application will be away for 4 months leave.
there will be no replacement to take up this job as it is cruel to tell the partimer to F off after helping up for 4 months.moreover, it will take a lot of effort to train a new comer.
only choice..is you are told to wait 4 months.
when four months resume, your application is in the mid queue of 35 out of 65, you are told to wait another 2 months to finally process yours.

so solution:
employ all partimes staff.if you want four months leave, no problem can go ahead.but when you want come back, you are subjected to post avability.if got post you are lucky.if no post, you cannot expect employer to sack miss AA and give her post to your rite?

Serious career women may have one or two kids but they make arrangements for kids to be cared for and they don't go away for 4 months. Many come back as soon as possible. The company is right to think that if you go away for that long, career is not your priority. There is also the question of your intrinsic value. If you are really good companies will bend backwards to do things for you to keep you happy.
Women do have to choose. There is no shame in choosing family and allowing career to take a second priority. Guys usually have no choice.

As for Muslims praying 5 times, it is the same principle. Some nip away for 5 mins and come back. It is no more than a pee break. For some God seems to detain them for a half hour. They must be very saintly indeed. Go figure.
I find the prayer break no worse than smokers nipping out every hour to puff. At least the worshippers don't come back smelling.

most smoke after that so hell is confirmed. drinking is also out too. do they obey? and yet they still pretend. they are becoming a religion of convenience like christianity

The standard 8-week maternity leave is meant to be for pregnant women to take 4 weeks before and after the birth. The 4 weeks before is because as they reach the actual day, they tend to have more medical problem and need to consult the doctors. These leave are meant for that purposes.

However, most women will not go for maternity until one or two days before the actual birth. Thus the leaves and time off that they take before the brith are at the expense of the employer.
 
biologically they are already not suitable for work. that's real intelligent design there. woman cook man hunt. now they want to work cook and fly. you are overreaching. even men cannot maintain there careers and cope with family. Ultimately you choose one. Here's the real situation. If women make a lot of fuss, boss will have pressure. If he fires them during pregnancy he is fucked. MOM comes after him. So dont hire women. Or any worker of any race or religion that will create problems. How could it be more simple or obvious than that?
