If we were never sure whether this place is on auto pilot or run by headless chickens, this "planned maintenance" double confirm both these points.
There appeared to be a total lack of leadership from the IDA CEO, daughter of Yong Pung How, who famously said, when questioned if she was fit for the job: "I may know nothing about CDMA, but I can always hire someone who does." While other CEOs in similar situations have hidden behind someone else's skirt, this Chief Justice daughter was hiding behind her own pants. Not a squeak from her, to provide assurance, that everything was under control.
Yakult is no better - got to have the PM himself to make some comments after a few days of tale where the story line changed three times over four days.
What about the respective CEOs of the "maintained" sites and their ministers. Everyone is acting buat bodoh, like sotongs, but happily counting their salaries at the end of the month. With a mini crisis like these, the ministers have confirmed themselves to be small time operators, good at harassing opposition parties over whether the fcuking ceilings of hawker centres should be cleaned, or whether legal action should be taken against a dog owner.
But when it comes to matters of substance, zilch. Is this betterer than having toothpick stealers making statements which show how empty their brains are?
