WP seem to be just repeating what PAP is saying. WP can't even form their own opinion

Minister for Communications and Information and Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs Yaacob Ibrahim said constructive dialogue is the best way forward on the hijab issue.

Thus, Dr Yaacob said, there is a need for all parties to practise accommodation and compromise, and all parties must continually work towards better mutual understanding of the diverse needs.

He said it will take time, but practical solutions can be found if the different sides continue to engage each other with goodwill.
