I pity Sinkies. At this rate the Pinoys are invading this red dot, soon...there will be a Pinoy movement for Tagalog to be 5th Official language.

We will have Pinoys MPs too.

Already housing estate in Compassvale RCs have Tagalog language posters! Mind you, these are govt establishment using Tagalog in its communication!

Good luck Sinkies!

What's wrong with having Pinoy MPs? We have Chinese and Indian MPs and they aren't native to Singapore either. They're immigrant stock too.

Since the National Language of Singapore is Malay, the easiest way of ensuring fairness is to make it the one and only official language of the country.

There are many different ethnicities in Thailand but they all adopt Thai names and speak Thai to each other. This unites the country under one language. Singapore can easily do the same with Malay as it is the native language of the region.

Foreign languages such as English, Mandarin and Tamil should be consigned to the scrap heap.

Excellent Idea!

Since you on this topic, there was a poster ( the usual) on MISSING DOG at the lift lobby, that was not unusual; but someone printed a recipe on cooking a dog & pasted it next to the missing dog poster. The recipe was printed from a Filipino cook site on using dog meat for some festival cooking.

I assume: (1) Someone is seeding anti-Filipino sentiment, (2) Some Filipino, trying to be funny. The reason I am saying this is, there is a growing number of Filipino renting rooms where I live, the PRC had stopped. One or two I recognize worked at the fast food shops at the mall nearby.

Question is:
How many of the resident's are illegally renting their rooms or house?? One I know, live with her daughter in woodlands, but rented out the whole house, this is one example.

HDB have a RACE policy, in which we cannot sell our flats to a particular race or it exceed the quota limit etc..

Why HDB turn a blind eye to this, disturbing trend of Foreigner's enclave?? , especially the Filipino??? not to mentioned the AH NEH & then the AH TIONGS...& soon the 'plaster the face with safforn"..BURMESE!!

I have called Town Council, alerting them on the unsavory joke...nothing had been done yet..whom did I vote for...nvm!!

Those who speak Tamil are not shitskins?

Most of the so called Tamil's, Sinhalese ( what we call Ceylonese, back then), Malayalam ( from Kerala) children, whom I grew up with do not even knowm how to speak their own language...they speak Malay. That goes for the Northern Indians, Sikhs..do not even know how to speak Hindi or even Pujabi.

I know a smattering few of those I had mentioned...few words to describe basic things...these guys speak only MALAY.
