I noticed that more and more Malay are stepping forward and demanding for more Malay rights in Facebook, Forums, Twitter, etc

What exactly do they want?

This religious practice should remain only within religious events. If it is granted to be practiced in all aspects of life, soon the Sikhs will be brandishing their sabres at offices and malls too.

I see nothing wrong in Singaporeans standing up for their rights-if more of us had done so, we would not have been invaded by Pinoys, Indians FT's and PRC's .
I am often irritated by the smoke and smell from the burning of incense and joss papers on the road side but tolerate then in the name of religion(I'm neither Christian, Muslim or Hindu).
I hope more locals will fight for their rights esp vis a vis foreigners.

First of all, are malay women not allowed to wear tuduns at work here? But I've seen many of them do in the service line!

Secondly, if they want to 'redeem the muslim women's rights', please start with empowering them with family planning and compulsory education. Wearing a headdress is not going to make your life better!
