Chinese driver partly also at fault because he was filtering towards left lane (with or without signal, nobody knows).
If he had kept to the second left lane, the ang moh would have been able to pass through without incident since he is coming out to the left most lane.
If you are the driver and you see a car coming out from the side road, whether intentionally or unintentionally, you would have stayed in middle lane as defensive driving and not head towards the left lane!
