Problem with Youtube, no sound.

Has anyone using a PC(Windows) tried using YouTube
I am not getting any sound. At 1st I thought I was having a hw problem but after checking my sound card is ok e.g. watching movies from some other sites is ok.

There is no problem when I use a Mac to access YouTube, only when I use a PC.

Same here, no sound, maybe technical glitch on YouTube?

Thanks, I thought I had some problems with YOUTUBE...I think it is Adobe Flash, they are using..my system I recall, just recently updated it. I have reboot, search for settings...the default is MUTE!

I didn't realise the sound was down because I usually use the sound controls on my speaker to adjust sound levels.

Thanks, I thought I had some problems with YOUTUBE...I think it is Adobe Flash, they are using..my system I recall, just recently updated it. I have reboot, search for settings...the default is MUTE!

I dunno why they set the default to mute.

Have heard that the programmers at Adobe are dumb but obviously some are deaf & dumb

No need to restart. The recent update to Adobe Flash was set to mute by default. Just have to increase the sound level.

No but if you are interested in Charlie Chaplin movies, you can find on youtube a movie titled "A countess from Hong Kong". It stars Charlie Chaplin, Sophia Loren, Marlon Brando,...& one of Charlie Chaplin children. It has sound. Enjoy.

Adobe have just recently been hacked and personal data stolen so I guess their not the brightest bulbs in the box.
