I'm amazed that for a supposedly rich country (and with a world-class govt), they hadn't yet completed the Sports Hub (a retarded name) stadium. How many years has it been already? Yeah, the 'best' stadium in this country is Jalan Besar Stadium, a crummy stadium one third the capacity of Craven Cottage, complete with shitty astroturf grass.

The very least they could have done was to keep the Kallang stadium until the new one is completed.

The YOG is so overrated here. I have never heard of it until Singapore made its bid. You might want to stop sulking over it as not many people outside of this country care.

I saw many news broadcasts for this IOC chief position.

The major reason why Ng lost was that no one can pronounce a name without a vowel.

But costs a bomb!!! more than $400 millions!!!! just goes to show how poor the planning or corrupted the whole process is. little wonder Mr Ng got massacred, his measely 6 votes compared to the winner Bach 49 votes. A total disgrace I might say. only MSM paints such a hype up picture. moreover Mr Bach is a former world class Olympic gold medallist with impeccable credentials who knows what Olympic sports is all about compared to Mr Ng. even Mr Bubka beats him in terms of credubility.
