I always thought or imagined that Ah Longs r male ...hokkien thugs and all that. Now the police has published a picture of a female Ah Long.....just goes to shows that the female movement has conquered another area of male dominance!!

SINGAPORE: Police are looking for two individuals who may be able to assist with investigations in separate cases of loanshark harassment in Marsiling Drive and Woodlands Drive 16.

The first person is a medium-built male with fair complexion.


He was last seen wearing a black short-sleeved polo t-shirt, black long pants and carrying an orange coloured plastic bag.


The second person is a woman with long straight, dyed hair, of slim built.


She was last seen wearing a green singlet, dark short skirt and carrying a green sling bag.


Anyone with information on the individuals can call the Police Hotline at 1800-255 0000.

maybe "ah long" use girls to sexually torture their debtors by doing a strip tease if they pay up or strip half if they fail to pay.

She is likely a debtor turned 'staff' of the ah long because unable to service her loan. Very common.
