Just The Way You Are. Billy Joel vs Barry White version..

Siapa menang ?

Billy Joel wrote " Just The Way You Are", Barry White did a COVER..of course Billy Joel wins!. Anyway Billy Joel version still the best. Just like "My Sweet Lord" George Harrison vs Any Williams, siapa menang??:D

It's strange that as a kid I absolutely loved the Billy Joel version and refused to listen to the Barry White's version whenever it came on the radio. 30 years later, I have to admit that I now kinda prefer Barry's version. Clearly my musical tastes have changed over the years...but don't get me wrong, I still like Billy's version

Having said that, nothing beats the sax 'outro' on the album version from 'The Stranger'. Pure class.

Prefer Barry White's version because of his baritone voice. It just suits this song very well.

I reckon this is one of Billy's best. Its very meaningful especially in today's world.

Dolly Parton recorded two version of "I'll Always Love You", 1st from her Jolene album, a heart wrenching feel to the song & rightly so, for she had just broken up with somebody, later she recorded the same song, but it was just singing the song..I like the version of the 1st & I have both to compare. I never like whitely Houston cover of that song..

It certainly is one of his best.
And this is another one.............................
