On line forums are nothing more than information exchange facilitators and humans love to exchange information.
They aren't going to disappear overnight. People will simply adopt different ways of accessing and posting. The software side of things will take care of that.
Not everyone wants to use facebook. The fact that traffic has increased more than 50% in this forum since facebook appeared on the scene is testimony to this fact.
However, there is a significant uptrend of people using mobile devices vs good old fashioned computers.

Plenty of Singaporeans from all walks of life have expressed shock at not having won the National Day Award that was handed out this past week.
This despite the National Day Award being much easier to win than Toto.
Judging by the monster lists of winners published in The Straits Times, the odds that each Singaporean actually winning an award is fairly large.

Are you referring to forum runner or the mobile style?
Because of the real estate restrictions, you're never going to get the same experience compared to a proper browser.
I use the full version on my iPad / iPod in landscape mode.
