Why have I not received any awards for my efforts?

You are just a subject. Stop asking stupid questions. Just obey the PAP and do your job.

Uncle Sam

You need to come up with something new soon. Online forums will be a thing of the past, that is unless you've been instructed to bottle up dissent in this retro forum full of anonymous nicks. As long as dissent doesn't go mainstream, no harm done.

On line forums are nothing more than information exchange facilitators and humans love to exchange information.

They aren't going to disappear overnight. People will simply adopt different ways of accessing and posting. The software side of things will take care of that.

Not everyone wants to use facebook. The fact that traffic has increased more than 50% in this forum since facebook appeared on the scene is testimony to this fact.

However, there is a significant uptrend of people using mobile devices vs good old fashioned computers.

The ST has two full pages of people winning National Day awards, and Leongsam is not one of them.

Still don't want to ring the bell?

QUIT LAH!

Plenty of Singaporeans from all walks of life have expressed shock at not having won the National Day Award that was handed out this past week.

This despite the National Day Award being much easier to win than Toto.

Judging by the monster lists of winners published in The Straits Times, the odds that each Singaporean actually winning an award is fairly large.

If you join up with Sun Ho to lead the PAP to election victory in 2016, you will get the Super Order of Temasek - a new award to recognize you.

What efforts? In their view you are a 'undesirable'.

It does not matter how much in life you had made GOOD elsewhere, you are and still is a 'undesirable' in their eyes.

If you had stayed and used your intelligence to carry their balls here instead.

You probably will have an entire wall of toilet paper rewards and trophies of recognitions from almost every other ball carrying ceremony that you can imagine and of course, you will NEVER start such a forum but will surely vote for them instead. LOL

You need to have good honours, i.e. 2nd upper and above.

http://www.pmo.gov.sg/content/pmosite/nationaldayawards.html

The Singapore National Day Awards are a means of recognising various forms of merit and service to Singapore. This year, a total of 3,197 individuals in 19 award categories received National Day Honours.

You may choose to view awards for any selected recipient's name, year and/or award type. Please note that this search is only applicable to award recipients from 1998 till current year.

You are nationally recognised as SINGAPORE'S FOUNDING FATHER of ONLINE PIMPING... only one other person in Singapore can be called a founding father.

But the mobile version of this forum sucks.

Are you referring to forum runner or the mobile style?

Because of the real estate restrictions, you're never going to get the same experience compared to a proper browser.

I use the full version on my iPad / iPod in landscape mode.
