That's not a good analogy. When a thief steals your stuff, you lose.

However, when the demand for housing is driven by the arrival of foreigners, all locals stand to gain as the property they own increases in value by leaps and bounds.

Let the foreigners have your crappy low paying jobs. The exponential rise in the value of your assets will compensate for this many times over.

I just had coffee the other day with a group of sinkies in their 40s and 50s. All of them are very happy with the way things are turning out. They have sold or rented out their property and have retired to a life of leisure and regular golf.

One guy has almost $2 million in the bank after he sold his pigeon hole AND the one his parents own.

Most of them still consider Singapore home and spend more than 6 months of the year there. However, moving their money to NZ has enabled them to set up a second base.

NS is a system where the majority are used to protect the assets of the minority, the millionaires & billionaires. Many are not even Sporeans.

What to do ? If A don't report for NS will kena catch to prison. So have to ask the military police why you wanna catch someone who is not willing to serve someone who steals their jobs. The military police might say the same thing...if he don't catch A, B will catch him..this goes on and on..
