Last visited via the PoLycLinic route this May; because of some gums' infLammations.
Thought & was toLd this is the right path to go..but at Last was advised that my appointment for a subsidised rate wouLd be onLy in December @ KTP HospitaL.
However; if i wish to hasten things up; then i wouLd be pLaced on a quickier waiting List at ALexandra
HospitaL, but by paying the fuLL priVate rate !
Not that i am compLaining; but since when have ALexandra went PriVate ?..:*:

faster to go to a NUS dental student.... they always looking for patients... i see one myself. save money

Another fine example of a chobolan Nigerian scam crony infested lumparliament in session. These chobolans would rather debate holiday itinerary than debate about the abject failure of the current dental subsidy scheme in govt hospitals.

Minister paid for his heart procedure at $8 & it was done ASAP, how come yours takes six months?? there no public hospitals anymore...they are now PRIVATE! :D

If you had a small tooth filling to be done and you wait 6 months....you will need to do a tooth implant costing $1,200.

First world medical care?

I cannot be treated by an NUS dental student because I'm an NUS adjunct lecturer. Or I'll breach the lecturer-student protocol.

You want good dental care, pay a little more and go to a proper dental clinic.

Don't go to those dental sweatshops mostly staffed by new dentistry grads and where you can't get the same dentist because 1) the turnover rate is high and 2) their timeslots and shifts are irregular.

(yes, I'm talking about you Q&M.)

Not that i am scrimping on DentaL fees; but i beLief my current condition warrants more attention than just waiting
for that 6 month's of waiting..
..and hence my dissapointment.

But you have to be prepared to spend a lot of time there as they are still learning and a lot of times, they have to seek their instructors' approval before proceeding.

How do you go about getting a appointment with the student ? By walking in to the lab ? Can I select the prettiest student ?

Yes. You can also specify the breast size too. These young nubile fresh grad will keep the top few buttons of blouse unbuttoned, and will press her breast on you head during the dental works.

your description almost matches 1 of my visits to a neigbhourhood dentist, except the breast keep brushing against my side face (not pressing though). I did not feel pain through the procedure (which I normally would for any dental treatment) ..shiok !
