mine is end lot. paint whole internal wo door frames n using one paint col , all in rm3300. he will free touch up on external walls.
Very reasonable and good price.
I observe that the paint quality in MY is not as good as SG even brands like ICI or Nippon. SG price is just slightly more than MY after conversion.
For external painting, better to use SG paint. Internal is still acceptable.
ya lor , had a hard time sourcing for painter , some quoted the price like 10k if paint internal and external.
for this contractor , if external and internal , the most 5k plus ....
of coz with have sealer .
true abt the paint , developer using ICI for extenal and the fence area just keep peeling off...
my painter told me the crack lines on the walls is due to the construction of houses too fast ?
Is there a different between SG - ICI / Nipppon or MY - ICI/Nippon? Does the painter provide SG paint?
Msia ICI paint is less concentrated as compared to Sin one. To have better effect using Msia ICI paint, painter need to paint a few coats which doubt they will do so. The best is to provide the paint from Sin to Msia painter. And if possible, be around and monitor their work.

i was being quoted nearly 5k just for laying of tiles for a 190 sq ft area (consisting of 2 balconies). I personally think its expensive. can anyone recommend me any contacts who can help me with laying of tiles. The tiles are provided by myself.
Are there any good contacts for polycarbonate roofing too? Cos i thinking of using zheng tong to do it.
But i realise that there are some bad comments abt them. So now i am unsure.

What brand and type of prints were used? How long it take to paint your house?
Is that all that you're asking the contractor to do? I suspect the quote is higher because it's a small job; but it's too expensive. I'm retiling my kitchen area and also extending the tiles on my porch, but it's part of a big project for my house. I asked my contractor to quite for labour and materials to lay the tiles; if you want, I can pass the contact to you. He hasn't started the work, so i can't say whether he's good or not.
May I know what are the bad comments you heard about Zheng Tong? I engaged them for my gates, doors and grilles. Thanks.
I am only building a roof to cover my balcony, tiling up the 2 balconies floor, build an L shaped built in wardrobe.I read some forummers here have not had pleasant experience with ZT,but they never specify.It would be wonderful if u could share your contacts with me. thanks!
Just sharing my recent renovation experience. I provide the tiles, the contractor is charging me RM5 psf for labour, sand and cement. If wall tiles is RM8, toilet floor tiles with water proving is RM11, I already find it very expensive. For staircase, they charged lump sum.
Expensive by my standard, in Sarawak, the rate is RM1 psf but then this is JB. If you think it is worthwhile for you, let me know and I can share his contact with you. Workmanship wise, you can come and see mine.

Have a double storey semi-d am considering painting. Have quotes from 6k all the way to 13k.... Too much variance and also unknown quality. Would like some recommendations.

Nippon paints,nippon sealer.(exterior 3 colours/interior 1 colour). 3 days. At the moment,i think he's fully booked. But u can try.Cheers.
