Just read in Shitty Times about our monies in Indonesia to fight the Haze- absolutely wasted!! We built two monitoring stations in Jambi but they r no longer operating as 'they ran out of tape'!! Also they have the cheek to say even if they have tape they also don't want to touch it for fear of damaging the equipments !! Also another harebrained scheme to convert farmers to rear fishes also flopped!! Wtf!! All our monies and efforts wasted!!

Singapore should learn to give what is needed & not what they think Indonesia should have!

Most of the "donations" to those Indo Chief has been used in "somewhere" else.
Their intention is not to use it for the main objective but for their own motive.

Compare the size of Indonesia and Peesai - what is there Sg can do to help this huge archipelago? I think help should be the other way - from Indonesia to Singapore if Peesai needs anything (eg. land, energy). Their haze situation, it's agricultural related, what experience does Peesai have to assist in this area? You are right - the "help" Sg gives them will go into some individual's pocket - but how else is it supposed to end up? Her people's are not starving, there is ample investment into their resources, not just from regional companies, but also from European, US, and Japanese MNCs. Peesai doesn't have a glowing future like that of Indon, no need to offer help. Better look after own future first.

Cheers!

dat indon fella oredi said dat dey want billions from sinkielan in order 2 mov ...

This example of Indonesia's behaviour is exactly what I had encountered about the Muslims. They will appear to be nice and kind when they need help but when it is the other way round, they give you shit reason just because they are lazy or incompetent. They will not feel a bit of shame when they bite the hands that once helped them. End of the day, it is just about themselves. You dun matter because being non-Muslim, you will never be a part of them.

This is blackmail, they create problem and ask for money to solve the problem they create.

We should blame ourselves, they used to be contented and happy villages... We introduce them to wealth and progress!

Greed is not limited to Indonesia.
Must also ask who in the PAP made $$$ from donating the equipment to Indonesia :D

Can we blame MIW again? It is them who create all these problem.

Knn. Another expensive & hare-brained PR flop by government scholars to an ungrateful receipient. They should provide more free air-con shelters for locals to escape from the haze instead of wasting it on the Indons. ;)

Correction.....We created the problem by refusing to repatriate the billions of ill-gotten gains of their corrupt official...

This time round, the move is more ardent...looks like something is in the card on the above $billions.

Wait for 3 to 6 months to see both side will come out withsome agrrement on ratifying the two treaties..in simple term..one on the Haze and the other on the $billion or part of it to be repatriated.

You think giving the corrupt and dishonorable Indons billions of dollars will solve any problem or suddenly they will be so grateful? Why give up your leverage for warm fuzzy feelings of brotherhood? Go out to the real world, make a living on your own, then you know what is human nature.

No $$$ for tape Ha Ha what a joke. The main reason they wanr hard $$$.

They ran out of red tape?

They ran out of red tape?

They purposely make Sillypore go thru all the "red tapes" before things can be sorted out smoothly.
Prior to that we need to carry out some "donations via several installment scheme" to climb over the first hurdle.
The limbo rock bar has been "raised too low" this time and our Sillypore gahbrament cannot bend backwards anymore.

Indonesia will last a few hundred years to come. Peesai wont last another 10 years.

Then stop helping them. And if another tsunami ravages their coastal towns, do not help rebuild them.
Don't even send food, medicine or drinking water.

Problem solved.

Dear laksaboy,

It's easier said than done.

Did you know that Ho Jinx's Temasick vehicle budgets S$100 million over 5 years to help these ungrateful countries in South Asia, East Asia and Southeast Asia?
