Michelle is really funny....
The noose still ok now without her but it was perfect when she was part of it....
When vomit singh was there really cannot tahan....he spoilt everything....think he left on his own accord....probably din want to malu himself.
Noose same same as the Simpsons.....a handful of talented people hamming up a long list of wacky characters.

noose is boring sia but at sg standards much better than a lot of others.
I don't like The Noose, poor scriptwriting, bad acting and the slangs are horrible. Personally feel Michelle Chong is the only one who passes the cut. Avatar jojoman, seriously...
Miss those days when we have gao xiao xing tong. That was really funny. But then Jack Neo become a director and he brought his crew over to the big screen. That was the death kneel of it.
Times are different, MDA should bring back the dialects and let em speak Singlish. After all society has matured to the extent where everyone is at least able to speak english or their primary mother tongue. And we can surely differentiate between Singlish and the Queen's English.
Then pap has succeeded in killing off the highly popular program that makes fun of pap.

Honestly, mostly, the only tv shows and movies that are "successful" in Sg are slapstick comedy shows.
They cannot seem to produce any good action, romance or any shows where actual acting/script writing/directing/cameramanship is required.. Look at korea, HK, Taiwan or Japan. Yes they have slapstick but they also produce serious award winning ones. Slapstick requires little skills in acting, just doing some monkey stuff for laughs in front of the camera.
Unfortunately, what we have are more and more pathetic Jack Neo slapstick crap with poor acting, weak lines and forgettable dialogues...
Either what I said above or its just the weak nature of the viewership locally..

Get a life. Don't be cynical for no good reason. It's just TV entertainment, why can't it be slapstick just for a laugh?
Disagree on the life bit... I hardly watch TV. I guess from your level of agitation, you must be a "local TV enthusiast".
If you do as I do (not watch TV) and turn on only to see slapstick crap.. you will definitely think that talent is questionable.
