Crash crushes teen's leg

She was heading for a swim when a car went out of control and pinned her against a tree.

The accident crushed her right leg, exposing her bone.

The 19-year-old, known only as Eileen, was rushed to the National University Hospital.

The accident on Sunday occurred outside a SingPost office at a sharp turn just before the junction of Jalan Teck Whye and Choa Chu Kang Road.

Eileen remains warded and police investigations are ongoing.
