was pumping petrol today at rehill shell.
after that proceed to pump my tyres.
there is only 1 air pump, so i was in queue.
i waited in queue with my aircon on.
saw a lady in her early 30s wearing semi suit trying to pump air for her Mitsubishi Evo.
Saw her press the + up sign on the panel becasue i can hear the beep beep beep sound.
then saw her went round her four tyre loosening her cap and inserting the pump.
Funny thing is , i only saw her touch the panel once, how come she can go around her 4 tyres at one go.
(those who pump tyre before will understand why i say that)
Saw her take some time...but i very patience.no problem.no kapo,no chee hong.

After that she drove off,my turn to pump.
knn the panel show 138psi.
that is enough to charge an aircraft tyre.

2 things might occur:
1) she did not press the go button after setting the psi she wanted.so being gundu..she did not actually pump instead let off some air

2) she pressed 138psi(the more the better mentally) , press the go button, she was lucky not to had be blown to pieces during charging

more like number 1, becasue i did not hear the hissing sound despite with my windows windup

i learn something today.never queue beside a lady driver for pumping tyre.whose know she might be a walking weapon

don't quite get what you mean, normally you just set psi one time and pump all 4 tyres or whatever number of tyre what! as long as you don't change psi all the tyres will have same pressure

nah.
you set the psi once, you press the start button.
when achieved the setpoint psi, it auto stop.
then u repeat teh same step for 3 other tyre
if not the compressor will run 24hours non stop

It means you can pump her

no need to understand england meaning. when you see the sticker at the back bumper of a light green van, its me

my england no good.what does it mean

aiya..now i understand what you mean...
i focus too much on "home is where you park it"...and miss out the entire simpleness of the meaning.

This is a song that is both simultaneously about cars and sex. A classic.

You set once, and you pump all tires.. what you described she doing is correct.

Press the + or - sign to the right pressure and pump.. there is no "GO" button. The pump will pump till the pressure is achieved.

Are you referring to pumps in Singapore?

one question.......tyre psi......follow tyre recommended specs or car manual?

I will take from either the tyres, from the information on the inside of the petrol cap or from the driver's door close to the locking mechanism.

KNN, didn't know you guys like these types of threads so much.

So here' the thing.....

What is the diffrence amongst humping, pumping, thumping and dumping?

I prefer to pump more from the back then the front... more pressure or pleasure and more control for the drive.

Could it be 138kN/m2 pressure rather than 138psi? Some air pumps give 2 options.
Anyway, 138kN/m2 would be under pressure for most car tyres (conversion about 20psi)
I don't think the air pump can go to 138psi or the tyre would have blown up.

The compressor will only run when air is release from the pump hose until the desired pressure is reached in both tire and air hose.

Do you really know how the automated air pump works?
