With the exception of George Yeo, where are all the ex MPs. People like Ho Peng Kee, Choo Wee Kiang, Chan Chun Seng, Ho Geok Choo, Lim Hwee Hwa...etc. Also how come I cannot Google list of past MPs....its like their names are being erased from memory!! PAP don't want us to remember??

Choo Wee Khiang - preparing for jail
Chan CHEE Seng - quite old, probably retired

Ho Kah Leong - retired - I saw him just the other day.
Sin Boon An, Davinder Singh, S Jayakumar - law practice
Dhanabalan - Chairman of Temasek

The rest - not sure.

OK I learn something new today!!

Your statement is an example of the lies and falsehoods that the PAP has to put up with in cyberspace.

Had I not attempted to verify your statement that the PAP had wiped all information regarding ex MPs from the World Wide Web and left not a single trace, your outrageous claim might actually have gained traction.

Question is any of them done anything noteworthy since leaving office? Or they decided to take of their coat of immortality and decide to become mere mortals and count their millions in the bank?

The Ex PAP MPs were good people who sacrificed their privacy and their lucrative careers to serve ungrateful characters like yourself.

Instead of honoring them, you are now trying to discredited them even further. I wouldn't be surprised if future generations of talented Singaporeans concentrate on their own lives and leave the peasant stock to stew in their own pathetic juices.

You mean like rather be a Veterinarian at Primary Production Department, looking farm animals & taking care of the animals like the higher 'primates'?. I salute their dedication, or rather being a teacher, educating the next generation & look after our well being & security, I salute the proficiency.

A spade for a spade..those who were with the PAP, from the 1950's, 60's 70's & maybe some from the 80's..especially the 50's, 60's & 70's, have dedicated their lives in the service of the people...but now they dedicated theirs to the service of greed! ahh! MONEY!

To the older ones..we are truly thankful for their dedications...anything after that....:p

I'm only thankful to the old guard members who have retired and/or died. They did try to make the country better, albeit their individual human flaws amd weaknesses.
But not to the only member who stayed on and refused to leave, pak see buay zao pak zao buay see.....................

Those we are thankful for...& 'out live their welcome'..you should know who?...& 2 very expensive ones...ok! one is a "National Treasure", the other, what do we treasure?

The thread is based on the notion that they sacrifice their careers and salaries to be our MPs and Ministers. Therefore we should see many of them becoming "movers and shakers" of industy when they returned to their old jobs with political experience and network in their pocket. Unfortunately the evidence is that they have more or less disappeared into GICs and family biz to cruise till retirement. How disappointing!!!
