Youths caught inside handicap toilet together by security guards at The Cathay

A youth dressed in a school uniform and a female companion were questioned by a security officer from The Cathay after they were caught together in a handicap toilet cubicle on Saturday (Apr 20), reported STOMPer iiirrrfff.

A video sent in by the STOMPer shows the pair standing in front of two security guards outside the handicapped toilet, with one of the officers telling the student that if "she's doing something inside , you cannot be there" and vice versa.

The security officer went on to tell the pair that the case will be passed on to the mall's management team and that they may choose to take action -- like calling the police down for this matter -- against the youths.

In a phone conversation with STOMP, iiirrrfff said:

"I was waiting for a friend outside the toilet of The Cathay on Saturday afternoon when I heard a commotion going on.

"I went to take a look and saw a security guard knocking on the door of the handicapped toilet and asking the people inside to come out.

"Later on, the security guard was seen speaking to a guy wearing a school uniform and a girl.

"I think a cleaner may have seen them going in together, and that the youths may have been caught on a CCTV camera as well.

"I left the area without seeing what happened at the end but I heard the security guard say that they may have to call the police down for this incident.

I did that with my gf at a downtown hotel once and another time at a pub. Sometimes, it's just too spontaneous both can't stop and frankly, I do not see any reason why the security guards should check on them. There is nothing wrong having a couple going into the toilet together. Are these guards so retarded or what?

Nothing wrong what....it's obvious to anyone when a couple goes into the toilet together. Why disturb their privacy? Doing it on the staircase is open place and children may pass by and that's wrong.

Which law(s) did they break?

1. Non handicap person(s) going into a handicap toilet, it that against the law?
2. Is there any law in Singapore that states that a male and female cannot go into the toilet together?
3. Did anyone hear or see them fucking inside the toilet?
4. Even if so, is it against the law (obscene behaviour or some sort)?

If (1) to (3) above no, then of course (4) NA. So fuck the Management of the Building!
