SPF won't admit it but they are powerless against these syndicates..

Expect the syndicates to continue running rampant..

Clueless SPF are only capable of arresting the runners and those who are assisting the syndicates.. These are just small fishes that are being nabbed on a weekly basis.. The big sharks are still swimming freely..

Can it be that the 'sharks' are amongst them ? or one of them? Doesn't it occur to anyone that, they are just arresting the runners & the debtors turned runners. Up till now, NO AH LONG CHIEF had been brought to court or any of the money lending syndicate being crippled.

Singpass is for ah long to confirm you are still working and got means to return your money so that they could lend money to you . And also they know where you work . also ah long wanted to prevent ppl from using another person ID card to lend money .

These type of Ah Longs are the not the gentleman type.. They never keep their words.. They will not let off the debtors if they know that the debtors are weak, and those that easily give in to their demands..

That is 100% accurate. SPF is almost impotent against these 'jip thuan' based overseas. Many involved are people on-the-run, including bosses. Malaysia and China are two such bases. Those caught are the debtors who allow their bank cards to be used for transactions when they are unable to pay their installments. Permitting licensed moneylenders to charge suka suka interest was meant to combat the ah long problem. Sadly, it failed.

Happy to read that Police had managed to apprehend 3 men in this scam. Hopefully the court will hand down a heavy sentences to deter others from doing this again.I believe this is a matter of whether Police WANT or DON'T WANT to make arrest only.NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE.

I agree.. Its usually their runners who are not gentleman.. This is where the problem lies.. Most Bosses give their runners the free hand when operating the business..

These runners then abused the trust by collecting extra money to fill in their own pockets.. As you know, the method they usually used is by demanding more payments by debtors even though the debtors already finished paying his debts.. Many debtors fell into this trap..

The coward ones will not let you talk to their Bosses.. The problem is they're faceless.. Not like the olden days when the runner himself collected money from debtors face to face and there are mutual trust between the debtors and the syndicate runners..
