I define the "world" as the six sense bases of eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body and intellect. The "world" of a housefly or the "world" of a myna is very different from the "world" of a human being. The "world" is not something that is absolute.
And I agree with OverTheCounter that in a sense, we are all eternal conscious beings. We are just experiencing different "worlds" at different times, although some "worlds" might be less desirable than others.
In my case, it was 50. 40 was still going strong. Chiong with no brakes! Nowadays, battery always flat.
A close pal of mine told me recently that it was this Chinese New Year that he was very troubled. Never before did he realised that time was running out. He is close to 70 and still a chiongster. He told me if can tahan till 80, less than 4000 days to go.

Times have changed. I could not help but notice that many people actually start to jog, cycle or go to Gym when they reach middle age. They also start eating sensibly. People are living longer. Now can see fit looking uncle and aunties. I once saw this uncle in the gym going all out. Complimented him and he told him he woke after his triple bypass. Also told me that his sex life shot up and he was not going to give that away.
